Q: Where are your products made?
A: Our products are either made completely by refugee women in the United States OR imported and then embellished and worked on by refugees.
Q: How does the money from my purchase change lives?
A: Your purchase allows blue meets blue to do several important and life changing things. 1- To create a community for refugee women that have gone through the same struggles and can now relate to one another. 2- Employ these women so they now can take care of their families, did you know many refugees are unable to find employment…or at least employment that pays fairly? 3- Pays refugee women fairly so they feel empowered, confident, and a part of a larger community.
Q: Where did the name “blue meets blue” come from?
A: When thinking of the many struggles that refugees often face in order to reach ‘safety’ in their host country many images came to mind like their difficult journey on boats. Often times when they make the decision to leave their country all they see is the blue of the ocean meeting the blue of the horizon –hence the name blue meets blue. Hopefully representing their freedom, freedom of choice and freedom in life.
Q: Do you only work with women?
A: Currently, all our employees are women. This is due to their very unique role as both mothers and heads of households. By giving women a stable income they are able to provide for many others beyond themselves.

A: We love getting feedback because it helps us to improve. Whether you love something or not, we would love to hear about it, just email us here.
Q: The garment I want is out of stock. Will you have more in the future?
A: Due to our production model, we aim to make low quantities, and many of our items are ‘made to order’. Once an item is out of stock email us to let us know that you are interested in it and we can see if we are able to make more.
Q: How can I help?
A: Make a purchase. Volunteer to be an intern. Spread the word about blue meets blue. Be a loving member of society.

A: We are constantly looking for like-minded people to help further the story and message of blue meets blue. If we do not have any positions listed send us an email, we always need more manpower!
Returns & Exchanges
What is the blue meets blue return policy and how do I return an item?
Please see our Returns Policy to find out how to return your purchase. Please note that some items may be final sale and are non-returnable, we will always let you know if this is the case.
How long do I have to return an item?
You have 30 days from your original purchase date to return your item(s) back to us.
When will I receive my receive my refund or store credit?
We’ll email you updates throughout the returns process. Once your return item has been received (normally 3-7 business days after you ship them out), your return will be processed within 1-3 business days. For refunds, please note that your financial institution may need an extra 3-5 business days to clear the funds back into your account.
Do you exchange if I need a different size?
Yes mostly- item must be unworn and in original shape. All exchanges will be issued as store credit that will allow you to revisit our site to either purchase a different item or the same item in a different size, provided it is available. What if my item is faulty?
We aim to provide our customers with the highest quality products and check everything prior to shipping. However, if you have received an item with a defect that has a manufacturing fault, has been wrongly described, or is different from the product you ordered, please contact us here with details so we can help you resolve the issue as quickly as possible. We may need to obtain photo(s) of the defect.
Some of our products may look a slightly different from the online images due to nature of production, most items are handmade which may render some variances that we believe add to the character of the item. If you are returning these items and the imperfection is deemed to be due to the nature of the item as opposed to a manufacturing fault, blue meets blue reserves the right to process the return as a general return instead of as a faulty item.
As you know this company helps pay the salaries of refugee women, and they are paid immediately upon completing the item. Having said one of our priorities is customer satisfaction, so always feel free to reach out!
Can I return sale items?
Sale items unfortunately cannot be refunded unless deemed faulty, however we would be happy to provide you with store credit once we have received the returned item.

How long does shipping take?
Depending on the item you purchase. Some items are made to order and will take 2-4 weeks. Ohers we have inventory of and will take 1-2 weeks. Either way you will be updated.
Do you keep my credit card details?
No, we do not store your credit card details on our servers. Our payment system Stripe stores them securely so that you can make purchases quickly and conveniently next time you checkout, but the details are never provided to or held by us.
Will my information be sold to third parties?
